  • salt to taste

  2. Heat the oil in a saucepan and sauté the chopped onion and garlic until golden brown.
  3. Add the diced tomato and sauté for a few minutes until soft.
  4. Add the tomato paste, ground cumin, paprika, and chili powder (optional) and stir well.
  5. Add the ground peanuts to the saucepan and mix thoroughly.
  6. Add a little water as needed to achieve desired peanut sauce consistency.
  7. Let the sauce simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally to keep it from burning.
  8. Season with salt and add more spices if necessary to adjust the taste.
