Originally, the Italian appetizer originated  in central Italy (in Abruzzo) as a meal for “poor people”. There the bread was toasted and rubbed with garlic and then drizzled with olive oil. This Italian appetizer is also known as bruschetta.

Equipment

  • 1 salad bowl

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 large onion
  • 250 g fresh cocktailtomatoes
  • 1 bunch of fresh basil and parsley
  • Olive Oil

Instructions
 

Step 1

  • Halve the tomatoes and finely chop the onion and garlic.

Step 2

  • Cut the fresh spices into small pieces.

Step 3

  • Put everything together in a bowl and mix well, drizzle with olive oil and season with salt, pepper and paprika.

Step 4

  • In the meantime, halve the baguette rolls and rub with olive oil.

Step 5

  • Then for a maximum of 10 minutes in the oven.
  • Serve everything together fresh.
  • Bon Appetit!
