- 4-5 tbsp milk
- 5 tbsp tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon vegetable broth (instant)
- 1 tsp sugar
- some grated cheese

The version of the Croatian stuffed peppers is particularly suitable as a main course or as a side dish. It is also a popular dish for celebrations such as birthdays, which you can prepare yourself very quickly.

Step 1
First hollow out the peppers
Then cut the carrot, zucchini, aubergine and onion into small cubes.
Step 2
Bring everything to a simmer together with the tomato flesh in a saucepan (approx. 10-15min.)

Then sauté everything briefly, season with garlic and the remaining spices and fill into the tomatoes.
Step 4
Stuff the peppers with the mozzarella. Here it works quite well if you put mozzarella on the peppers at the end before you put the pepper lid on

In the oven at 180 degrees for about 20 minutes.
