Stuffed tortillas with oven-roasted vegetables – go perfectly with tapas

Stuffed tortillas with oven-roasted vegetables is a great dish for all those who like to experiment and for all vegetarians. In addition, these go perfectly with a tapas evening  and you can easily  make the tapas yourself . Since I often prepare tapas myself, filled tortillas with oven-roasted vegetables simply cannot be missing. But also  ingenious vegetables from the oven , tortilla de patatas or dates in bacon vegetarian as well as steamed tomatoes are  great ideas for preparing tapas yourself . You can also try the tortilla wraps . They really taste good too!

  • 1-2 tortillas
  • cream cheese
  • carrots
  • aubergine
  • Cucumber
  • Honey
  • salt, pepper, paprika, nutmeg

Oven-roasted vegetable tortillas and their various names

The stuffed tortillas with oven vegetables have different names. For example, they are also called vegetarian wraps, filled with cream cheese or just tortillas with oven-roasted vegetables. They are great traditional Spanish food. They fit almost every occasion, whether it’s Christmas, Easter or birthdays, the tortilla is a welcome guest. The tortilla is also perfect as a side dish or as a main course.

Step by step guide

Step 1

Briefly bake the tortillas in the oven (1-2 min. at 120 degrees)

Step 2

For the cream, season cream cheese and add some honey.

Step 3

Cook the cucumber, carrots and aubergine in the oven for about 15 minutes.

Spread evenly over the tortillas and top with oven-roasted vegetables.

Step 4

Roll up the tortillas tightly and cut diagonally into pieces with a knife.
